"The grounds garden and pool were very beautiful and clean. The restaurant was amazing and included a full bar. They even had a space that allowed the dog to dine with us. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and water pressure in the shower was great! We would stay again."

The downtown location made for a perfect central base for getting out and exploring all of Costa Rica with an agency right across the street for booking tour guided excursions. "Best location in Cartago for a hotel. Beds are not Marriott but they are clean and rooms are big enough for 3-4 people. The restaurant is good and not very expensive. The breakfast is nice and when they have the outdoor breakfast bar is probably my favorite experience of this hotel. If you’re going to be in Cartago, this is the best place to say. Very reasonably priced. Most of the staff is bilingual in Spanish and English."

"We booked the Premium Suite, which included a second room. Our stay included daily breakfast, and because we were Premium guests, we also had access to the 6th-floor lounge. The lounge was a wonderful and convenient amenity for us. They offered a variety of drinks, appetizers, pastries, and light food options, and we took advantage of it almost every day.
