"Hotel.com listing has coffee in common area---- they charged $1.20 for instant. Listing has pool----half full hot tub sized. Listing has full service spa ----none. Listing has wifi---- works 10% of the time. Listing has stovetop and utensils ---- none. This was a room not a condo. They cleaned the room once in 6 days. Listing says 5 minute walk to the pier------- it is very steep hill---- only a serious athlete could do it in 5 minutes."

"The house is very isolated. Not feasible to walk back and forth to Sabang, where the closet market is located. The house had not been cleaned in weeks, which meant the beds were very dusty. Recommend bringing your own linens. There was no drinking water or wifi, and breakfast was not included as advertised. Power goes out often (not Bahay Isla's fault), so good luck sleeping when the weather is hot. "

"Accommodation is about 30 minute walk up a mountain side from Puerto Galera. There are no local shops or other facilities nearby. Upon arrival, we were led through an overgrown forecourt to our room. It has no hot water and the water pressure is so week, it is difficult to take a shower. The staff told us that we could extend our stay if we wanted, as there was no booking following ours. They also said, we didn't need to pre-order breakfast from the menu the night before. "If you're looking for a relaxing and peaceful place to stay at Puerto Galera with accommodating and friendly staff, Badladz is the place to be! They have the amenities to make you feel at home and feel rejuvenated -- board games, pool, beach, food (tastes amazing and their menu has a variety of options), friendly and accommodating staff (shout out to Ate Ella, Ate Jonalyn, Ate Rina), and relaxing spa services by Ate Harmony, Ate Lei, and Ate Joan. Facilities were also well maintained, from restrooms, hallways, to the rooms. We definitely recommend this place! "

"Friendly lobby staff. The dive center was helpful. Tried to eat at restaurant, ended up going to nearby places as didn’t like the restaurant service. The lace was busy. One server told us we can use one of the tables once the cleaned it as prior diners just left. But then another server came in and put a reserved sign on the table. There was no coordination among servers and I hear some other people comping on the wait to get food so we didn’t want to wait for a table and went somewhere else. The KTV was nice. You get 1 hour free per day. Also the massage service was great. "

"Very upmarket place for the area. Food was fabulous and available to be cooked any hour of the day. Nice wine selection! Clearly a European touch of quality here. Diving was fabulous and VERY personalised. I had a boat and crew to myself for four wonderful dives. This is a Lovely oasis in a popular area that has very variable degrees of quality of resorts. You are safe here and in good hands. The beach is small and a bit rocky but the grounds are very nicely done. It is an credit to the owner Cristof"
