Great Stay Overall, But Misleading “Ocean View.”
I recently stayed here and overall I had a great experience. The property is well-maintained with solid amenities, friendly staff, and decent dining options on-site. I would suggest venturing out for alternate dining. The pools are nice and seem perfect for families with younger children - definitely a strong point of the resort.
My room was clean and comfortable, and I was happy with being placed on the third floor. However, my one complaint is about the so-called “ocean view.” While the listing made it seem like the ocean would be a key feature, the reality was very disappointing - the room mostly overlooked the pool area, with just a small sliver of ocean visible from the far left corner of the balcony. I don’t think this should be advertised or priced as an ocean view room, as the ocean was barely visible. It feels very misleading.
Also worth noting - if you’re on the backside of the property, those rooms face an area where construction is currently taking place. While the construction view isn’t the most pleasant, I didn’t hear any noise from inside the room, so it wasn’t a disruption - just something to be aware of if you’re hoping for a more scenic experience.
All in all, I enjoyed my time here, and I think this resort is best suited for families with younger kids looking for a relaxing stay with convenient amenities. Just be cautious when booking if a true ocean view is important to you.
