"Really enjoyed it. Have a great time. However, it was advertised that there was four restaurants – the seafood restaurant was not open the entire three weeks we were there. We do not eat sushi. Totally unhappy about that. That left us with only two restaurants and buffet – so for variety we had to go out to restaurants which added to our costs. Advertise four restaurants only give you three – false advertising."

Two things to note; surprisingly small pool area for how many rooms and the area is very underdeveloped. Definitely an older crowd vibe. The hotel would benefit by enforcing a bit more etiquette at the pool area around reversing sun beds, the people staying at the resort during our stay hogged the chairs and acted like they owned the place. "I would highly recommend spending a little extra for a room with a private pool. We made great use of ours, along with the spacious balcony. The room itself was a good size, clean, and comfortable. Because it’s a smaller property, the hotel felt quiet and relaxed, and the main pool and beach area were never crowded. "The facilities at Nirú are top notch, I believe the photos online don’t actually do it justice. The upstairs pool was always quiet, with very friendly and attentive bartending/waiting staff! The beach club pool and beach area are much busier with people from their other hotel in Santa Cruz and also day pass users, but we were always able to get some loungers regardless. "The restaurant at the hotel is amazing. Great view and best food we tried in the region. The hotel is clean and well maintained. We had a very comfortable stay. Would recommend if you’re visiting Huatulco. It’s walking distance to Playa Arrocito, however a taxi ride of 10 mins will be required to get to the city center Crucesita area as well as other playas in the area."
