The staff was extremely helpful and hardworking. The restaurant was excellent and the pool was well kept and very enjoyable. It is a very secure and family friendly hotel. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The room was good and comfortable. Not on the beach, 5min walk and dark at night but doable. The younger guy at reception was nice at check in at about 5pm the older guy was not so nice.

Hotel needs updating. Room spacious and clean. Wifi not that great cuts out the further away you are from main hub. Smart tv available but you need your own accounts to be able to watch anything. No cable provided. Included Breakfast simple but good. It wa a good for the one night. Beds comfy.

Hotel Majahual Resort was one of the most peaceful and pleasant places I stayed in El Salvador. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, relaxed, and genuinely welcomed. The location is beautiful, close to the ocean, and perfect for slowing down and enjoying nature. The atmosphere of the resort is calm and quiet, ideal if you’re looking to disconnect from stress and noise. Everything feels simple, clean, and well cared for. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Even with limited Spanish, communication was never a problem — they were patient, smiling, and always willing to help with anything I needed. What impressed me most was how safe I felt. I honestly felt so comfortable that I didn’t even lock my door at night. That says a lot about both the resort and the area. If you’re looking for a place that offers simplicity, tranquility, and a truly local experience near the beach, I highly recommend Hotel Majahual Resort. I would absolutely stay here again.

The property grounds were very nice and the staff was helpful and accommodating. The bartenders were very pleasant and friendly. The area outside the hotel has limited options.

The staff was nice. If they want to attract people from the US. They at least need a blanket, not using a pillow made for a couch, and have at least warm water. The place overall felt dirty, the floors were dirty. Secondly, they lock the doors at 5. And when we didnt get abck before 5 you get locked out so it took forever to get in contact with someone to let us in.
