"For a cheap stay it is above average "

"We stayed here July 27-30. The room was clean, quiet, and with plenty of charging outlets/plugs. It had a nice bathroom with good towel supply. A healthy continental breakfast was available off the lobby. Convenient parking in front or back of the hotel. The fitness room is small but has a Peleton bike, treadmill, elliptical and a good set of dumbbells. "

"Tim at the front desk was excellent and gave great recommendations of things to do and see in the area as well as being friendly, professional and helpful. The cleaning staff had a habit of congregating outside my room each day and talking for several minutes, which woke me up both days, but other than that my stay was very pleasant. This is my 2nd Spark by Hilton stay and I highly recommend both!"

I had an unexpected issue at the airport, which prevented me from flying into Pennsylvania until several days later. I reached out to Expedia, and they communicated this with the hotel on my behalf. "This is one of my favorite hotels! I think the cleanliness, stylish decor, and attentive staff make it a special place! We've gone to several baseball tournaments in the Leesport area and whenever I can justify getting a hotel room instead of driving back and forth to Baltimore, I convince my husband we should stay at DoubleTree in Reading! Nice to have a bar/restaurant in the lobby and the breakfasts are wonderful! "
