"It is older but well maintained. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and there are various sitting areas. What impressed me the most was the sitting areas outside each door and how quiet it was. No elevators, loud talking, hall doors slamming, or people talking in the hallways like you have happening in the larger chain hotels. "Very dated rooms. They spend all the money in the reception area while the rest of the lodge is falling apart. No breakfast included. I had to switch rooms because the toilet would not flush."

"The location was awesome with views of the sand dunes nestled up against the mountains. The accommodations were basic and very clean with everything we needed."

"Very clean well done cottages. We’ve stayed there 3 times. The location is very lovely. Our only minor complaint was we were asked mot particularly politely to wash the dishes and put out the trash. There were very few dishes so it was not a big deal. It just made our visit not quite as nice."

"The first contact was not good. The person that checked us in was rude and seemed perturbed that we were there. Did not tell us where the stairs were located so when I went back to get info, she stated that it where the green door is. I am red-green colorblind so this was not helpful and she stated the door had stairs written on it, which it does not. "The property is very dated, dark and depressing. There is no grass or yard around the pool area, and you had to go through a colony of gophers to get to the pool. The breakfast was good, but the area again was dark, hot and grease smelling. Never again!"
