"Lovely view of the swimming pool and lake. Very quiet. A nice place to relax after busy Barcelona. Good breakfast. The half board dinner menu seemed traditional Spanish, so a bit difficult to work out for the non-adventurous eater. We managed to choose items more to our taste on the second night, but would have struggled if we had stayed three nights (the menu was the same every night). Minor niggles were conditioner dispenser empty in the shower (replaced when we pointed it out), and AC made the room a bit too cold (couldn't change temperature, so turned it off until needed again). The good points far outweighed the bad, I would stay there again."
"The hotel, room and location are beautiful. The property itself is spacious, comfortable and the interior design reflects the surrounding area and vibe quite well without being gimmicky. The owner was there to greet us when we arrived and give us a little tour. We did get the impression that it's not currently being run as a "full time" operation because we were the only guests and never saw any other staff apart for the nice lady serving us breakfast. Speaking of which - the owner asked what time we wanted breakfast when he checked us in and we gave a time. But was very nice, particularly for local standards. Although we were a little surprised by the cost - it ended up being about £85 for 4 breakfasts (2 people x 2 days) and we ha"
"A nice, good value hotel in a great location for walking, medieval towns and the Yellow Train. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were disappointed that the spa was closed while we were there (staffing problems). The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable although our shower was a bit cramped and awkward to use."
"What I would call a nice old-fashioned hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful but spoke very little English. Google Translate was a massive help. The room was clean large comfortable with doors to balcony which overlooked the car park car parking was free of charge. Hotel has a bar where drinks were available but no restaurant breakfast was continental with an excellent choice even had English breakfast tea although we were only there for one night while my partner was crossing the Pyrenees on his bicycle thoroughly recommend."
