"24/7 front desk makes for such a great convenience. The restaurant is convenient and there are good selections. Very easy to get a taxi or Uber and the front desk will call for you if you like. Last year stayed in the Family room this year we had two separate smaller rooms which were lovely. The smaller rooms only had a shower so if you love to have a bath then confirm that. Coffee maker in the room for coffee and tea which the hotel provides. Small fridge also with snacks for purchase if you like. I loved Badalona and probably will always stay right on the beach any time I go to Barcelona. Three things did challenge me and were: 1) heat cannot be set. I am always cold and there was no way to increase the heat in the room 2) no washcloths but they do offer a body sponge which I used and 3) the bartender on the rooftop pool charged me $15 for a virgin pina colada which was the same price as the one with liquor. I paid cash so I am sure there is no record of that purchase. I did notify the hotel about my unhappiness about being charged full price for a virgin pina as if it was with liquor. Honestly that has never happened to me before and I was shocked. Those are very small items. I love the hotel and staff and there is much nearby like restaurants, beach, and market. The rooftop pool is beautiful especially at sunset."

"Hotel Horitzo is one of the best properties in Costa Brava, right next to the Beach with beautiful views. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast was outstanding. I stayed in a sea facing double room, the amenities were very good in my room. My stay at this hotel was a test case for this hotel since have a wedding coming up in June and I was looking for a really good hotel for 30 of my guests. We have booked all the rooms at the main wedding hotel (Santa Marta) and we needed additional rooms for our guests. My experience staying at this hotel was excellent. I have booked 16 additional rooms for June at this hotel for my guests. Hello Joseph, Your staff was super sweet when I stayed at the hotel. But there is one problem, after I came back to US, I am trying to talk to the Reception at the hotel, there is only one number listed. It is almost impossible to connect by phone to your Reception. As I have very important guests staying for 3 nights at your hotel, it is important that I talk to someone at the hotel to make sure everything goes smooth during their stay and I may need additional rooms. I will appreciate if you can make sure the experience 30 of my guests who will stay at your hotel is outstanding. "Overall, the stay was okay. The connectivity and accessibility were good, but the property is quite far from the prime locations and main attractions. The hotel itself feels old, although the bed was comfortable. The carpets in the corridors had visible stains, which affected the overall impression of cleanliness. Housekeeping was inconsistent during my stay — on the first day, toilet paper was not replenished, and on the next day, towels were missing. Additionally, no water bottles were replaced during housekeeping, which is something even a decent property usually provides as a basic service. While the stay was manageable and comfortable in parts, the hotel could definitely improve its maintenance and housekeeping standards."
