"This was an overnight stop on our way to Italy. The hotel was very quiet despite close proximity to the motorway. The staff were really helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. Nice views over the surrounding hills. No tea/coffee in the room but a station off reception with free water, tea and coffee. "The hotel is located on the mountain and the view of lake Lugano is spectacular. As it turns out, the rest of the experience was less so. We arrived around 10pm and by then, the kitchen was closed. The staff reluctantly served us drinks while at the same time wiping tables and closing down - despite the fact that the bar was supposed to stay open for another 30 minutes. "Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff were very kind and helpful. Be aware of the road if you’re traveling from Lugano - the hotel is located up on the mountain and roads were pretty tight and steep curved turns for about 20-25 minutes."

"Das renovierte Zimmer war super sauber und recht modern. Das beste die Klimaanlage. Personal war immer recht freundlich und bemüht. Frühstück sehr sehr einfach, aber gut. Das beste war der direkte Zugang zum See. Liegen waren auch gut zu bekommen. Es geht zwar an den Liegen am See ein öffentlicher Weg vorbei, das aber kaum ein Problem ist. Was besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass das Hotel mega Hundefreundlich ist. Man kann den Hund zum Essen und direkt an die Liegen an den See mitnehmen. Tolles...

"Das Hotel liegt super, unmittelbarer Zugang zum See. Unbedingt zu empfehlen sind die Zimmer mit Seeblick. Unser Zimmer selbst zeigte deutliche Gebrauchsspuren, hier wäre grundsätzlich eine Aufarbeitung notwendig. Nichtsdestotrotz würden wir das Hotel wieder wählen bei unserem nächsten Besuch am Comer See. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals hat uns sehr überzeugt. Das Frühstück war okay, auch lokale Produkte wurden angeboten."

"The staff was absolutely wonderful with the exception of the General Manager who was a bit crazy. I have never written that in a review, but I don’t know how else to describe her. Otherwise the hotel was fine. Not near the downtown at all, so that was a challenge, and the breakfast was all cold, but besides that, the hotel had AC (a plus) and was clean. More of a 3 star than a 4 star by US ratings."

What stood out the most was the hospitality. The owner and staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the whole stay feel very personal. "La bienvenida al hotel estuvo estupenda, el staff es increíble! Siempre atentos y respetuosos! Y el desayuno, ni se diga, esos capuchinos estaban muy ricos! En cuanto a la habitación, aunque es pequeña tiene todo lo suficiente, además de que está preciosa y las camas son cómodas, sin embargo lo que más se agradece es el aire condicionado! No esperamos para regresar en el futuro y hospedarnos en este hotel!"
