"Enjoyed our stay here! All the staff were great- James was especially friendly and helpful when we needed assistance. The location and room were ideal. The only thing that I feel could be improved were the bed pillows- which can be a very personal thing. For me they felt too thick and a bit lumpy. The bed was great and the rest of the room was nicely furnished. I loved that this property includes complimentary bike rentals for guests. We enjoyed taking the bikes out! "

"Staff was super nice, room was clean. Pool could be cleaner, hot tub was kind of gross. Would not stay here again as hotel was full of drunk college students. Also felt nickel and dimed that parking, beach chairs and bikes cost extra. No water fountain for refilling water bottles. Expensive for not much. Room was totally fine and comfortable though and pretty well sound insulated with the fan on. Great location "

"Pet friendly environment and attentive staff. Room sizing is way smaller than pictured. Could have been a bit more clean, although the rooms are dog-friendly, but there was stains all over the walls underneath the desk and near coffee maker. "

Seeing her face light up made the entire trip. The hotel is newly renovated, and the design is beautiful — a mix of historic charm and modern elegance. Our room felt warm, elevated, and peaceful. It’s the kind of space that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy where you are. And the location couldn’t be better. It’s right in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara, surrounded by cafés, bakeries, wine bars — all just steps away."

"Room was very nice. Breakfast was light-cereal, yogurt and delicious pastries. No eggs or meats. Location is very convenient. I hope to return to spend more time in the area."
