"Disclaimer. I am comparing to hotels in G8 countries. But for this price, right or wrong, I expected more. Nice they have a pool and pool bar. Gym is lacklustre as expected for a hotel but disappointing to see rusty, and in disrepair. Room was clean enough but again i expect more for this price. Toilet had cracks. Tilework had cracks and chips. This is my fault for not speaking Spanish. So it was nice the staff speak English. That being said, their level of attentiveness wasn’t great. Little things. The gym says open at 6. It was locked at 6. I went and asked. Front desk said 7. I said no. It says 6. She said 7 and turned away probably hoping i go away. I said the sign says 6, i went yesterday. So they unlocked it. Breakfast was very sub par. Cheap drip coffee. Sad looking watermelon and pineapple. Scrambled eggs out of bag. I expect this from a budget hotel. Is this normal in Panama? I don’t know. I wouldn’t stay here again but maybe this is the standard. I don’t know yet. My airbnb stays were great. "

"The hotel was ok. I was surprised there was no swimming pool. The food was decent but not fantastic. We actually loved the small cafe right across the street from the hotel for late night food and drinks. The room was nice but the TV didn’t work at all and we paid for a suite with a living room but ended up never using it for this reason."
