The staff is very helpful and very friendly. The room was clean, and it was quiet. It's located in a very convenient location which is a short walk to Capitola Village and the freeway is just a block away.

Everything about this hotel was decent. Not bad, not great. Just decent. If you want a cheap stay, it is a pretty good option. Next time, I'll spend a couple hundred extra for something a bit nicer.

The location is great. Close to the downtown capitola area and Gayle’s bakery. Quiet and comfortable. The bed could be softer, but it was fine for two nights. One night the hot water came out scolding. It was an enjoyable trip.

Quiet and spotless with a great seasonal pool. I was surprised to find only shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower/tub combo. Another bottle, apparently a bath gel, was mounted near the sink out of reach. I would also have appreciated having a rubber shower mat or something else to prevent slipping in the tub.

Lovely, reasonably priced motel located close to Hiway 1. Good shopping within walking distance to motel and in Capitola Village. Rooms are large with comfortable beds. This is our go to motel when visiting the Santa Cruz area.

Very nice beds, soft sheets and 4 great pillows on a med firm good bed. Quiet, peaceful. Safe and a really great location. Within 3 miles of Shadowbrook restaurant for their free taxi, or easy 5 min drive to park lot. Hotel was good. Sliding glass door to open to tiny patio, best on 2nd flr. Clouds from ocean in night and am cool off room well.

Excellent soundproofing, very comfy beds! Skimpy supply of toilet paper, 2 night stay for 2. No elevator and lobby/ office closed after 9 or 9:30. Continental breakfast was handy , lasted til 10am. Would definitely stay again!!

This hotel was ok. Little dingy on the outside but room was clean and and updated. The balcony was a little suspect, old wood and cheap chairs. They said the pool was heated but kind of cold. The breakfast left a little to be desired as it offered no protein. Waffles are always fun but needed some hard boiled egg or sausage option. Had to stay here due to slim Pickens during car week. It was fine but I wouldn’t choose it again. No gym, small pool.
