The front office personnel were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the bed itself was comfortable—though I can’t say the same for the pillows. Unfortunately, beyond that, our stay left much to be desired.
Our fridge began leaking water all over the floor, and when we called for assistance, the staff used our room towels to clean up the mess, leaving them piled next to the fridge. We were told housekeeping would be by to both repair the fridge and remove the towels. However, when we returned later that evening, we found the room untouched—no fresh towels, the bed unmade, and the room still messy.
We needed to shower before bed, so we called to request clean towels. My husband showered first and ended up using our beach towel since the towels hadn’t arrived. I assumed they’d be delivered by the time I finished—wrong. I had to use the same damp beach towel. Then, around 11 p.m., the front desk called to ask if we still needed towels. Seriously?
It was a frustrating experience, especially given the price and expectations. The kindness of the front staff was appreciated, but unfortunately, the lack of follow-through overshadowed that.
