"This was the most incredibly beautiful and romantic place to stay in Puerto Escondido! The staff was attentive and amazing, the food was wonderful and you can walk down the road past shops, coffee places and bars right down to a perfect beach. We will definitely try to come back to this amazing oasis!"

"The hotel is in a great location, just one block from Punta Zicatela’s main street, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The staff is very friendly, and the bar-restaurant offers great cocktails. The bartender is very creative and takes the time to explain the different drinks—you should definitely try the alacrán mezcal. That said, the room towels could use some improvement. One downside: on one night, some guests arrived around 2 AM and started a loud party in their room. Security didn’t intervene until around 6 AM, so we weren’t able to sleep that night. Aside from that incident, the rest of our stay was very quiet."

"My room was very clean and very modern with well functioning quiet air conditioning plus ceiling fan. Casa Manglar is a gem of a place that feels more like a quaint yet ultra modern bed and breakfast, with a limited amount of rooms - I think 12. Service is of 5-star quality, the design of the hotel offers the serenity of a spa. Again, 5-star, without pretense. Casa Manglar is located on a very flattened dirt road, a few feet away from the main road that takes you to Puerto Escondido Centro; about 3 miles away. Aside from Centro, beach access is a strong walk to the nearest beach. There’s also a super clean, beautifully clear-water interior pool when a plunge is desired. For less reliance on taxis, I’ll look to rent a car or moped to get around, upon my next visit. The town offers many rental options. My stay at Casa Manglar was brief, but I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Excelente propiedad. La alberca espectacular. Nos recibieron con excelente amabilidad. Lo único que tengo que decir es que la parte de housekeeping estuvo poco satisfactoria. No hubo cambio diario de toallas. Las camas se hicieron pero con las mismas sábanas todavía con la arena de mar del día anterior. La mini cocina se limpió a medias. Vasos con tazas usadas algunas se lavaron algunas no. El agua de botella nunca se rellenó, lo hicimos nosotros todos los días. "
