"Executive Hotel. Good communication with the staff and a great location to explore Oaxaca.
However, you need to ask the staff to clean the room and change the towels."
"I want that in the future yo provide chairs in the Room a mirror in the bedroom also is necessary a microwave in all the rooms. But the hostess excellent very nice person and the lady also."
"The pictures looked great, the rooms did not match the pictures. One room was pretty musty and dark. The room we stayed in had no hot water in the shower and it took 3 days to fix. They offered to change the room but that room had steep stairs to get to single bedroom down stairs and we had paid for a two bedroom. They should have made sure the shower worked before we arrived. They also required payment on arrival instead of at check-out. There are no cafes walking distance, and long waits for...
"There was nothing in common with the pictures they show and the reality.
It was dirty, the water was cold no preasure, toilet sit broken, not enough blankets, very cold during the night, super over priced, far away from the city and very broken road to the ranch.
The only think we liked is the garden! "
"Lovely interior, comfortable bedrooms, and clean space. There is plenty of space for large groups and each bedroom has its bathroom. The terrace and the rooftop were great."
"The property was perfect for me and my family. The roof is huge, the views are great, the jacuzzi and the lounging area are super nice, and the paintings are lovely. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable. This is a great option for large groups that want to share a special occasion."
"The rooms are big, the bathrooms are equipped with everything you could need, and everything was clean. It looks just as in the photos. I would stay here again

"Staff was very helpful and nice. Accommodations were made to have luggage left before our check-in was available & it helped a lot. The hotel is very close to the 20 de Noviembre food market, and the Zocalo (5 mins). I recommend upgrading to a room with AC, as even during Sep/ Oct, it gets hot. "
"This was our fourth visit to Oaxaca, but our first time staying at Casa Mayahuel since it’s a newer property—and what a wonderful discovery it was! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for.
I have some back issues and we were originally placed on the second floor. When Fanny noticed I was struggling a bit with the stairs, she immediately offered us a main-floor room and personally helped with the move. That kind of thoughtfulness set the tone for our entire stay. Both Fanny and Katya were absolutely outstanding—professional, warm, and genuinely kind. Their excellent English made things easier for us, though we appreciated their patience as we tried to speak as much Spanish as possible.
Jose, who took care of breakfast on the terrace each morning, was equally delightful. Breakfasts were healthy, hearty and tasty. and we found ourselves looking forward to starting our day with Jose’s cheerful smile and friendly conversation.
Though we didn’t interact with housekeeping often, we always returned to a spotless, well-kept room, and the staff never missed the chance to greet us warmly in passing. The pride in this property is evident everywhere. We were fortunate to meet the owner a couple of times and enjoyed conversations about Casa Mayahuel, his wonderful team, and the city itself. His affection for the hotel and his staff shines through.
And finally—the beds! North American–style, with excellent mattresses and high-quality linens. My back loved it!"
"An excellent place to stay, right in the middle of everything, with friendly service. Our room was beautiful with a huge bathroom, great shower and spa bath. Thank Hotel Cash De Sierra Azul!!"
"Since the first day we arrived, we were treated like royalty. They gave us coffee. They took our luggage upstairs. They treated us with respect with love and appreciation. It’s a great experience."
