"The entire property is magical! Every inch of the hotel and restaurant was beautiful and clean. My room (207) had a beautiful view of Porto. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. Jen from the hotel restaurant was super attentive and kind. The restaurant food was priceless ( I had the bread and the risotto with shrimp and asparagus). I can’t wait to return to Port River Soul hotel!"

"Just not what we expected from a Hilton. Room seemed not well kept. Shower leaked during night and woke us up. Fire alarm went off twice and no one would answer the phone at front desk. Ended up walking down to see what was going on. Had to check out at 3:00 am to catch flight. Was told computers were updating and they couldn't give me final receipt for room. Despite various calls/emails since to the hotel, Expedia, and Hilton, never did receive final receipt. Unfortunate experience...

"Cons 1. Hairdryer was jammed when we checked in & the head had to be replaced as it was inoperable due to hair jammed into the head of the hairdryer. 2. The website says air-conditioned rooms but staff informed they are air cooled.The first night was very sweaty & uncomfortable to get sleep. Staff asked us to open the window for ventilation.This wasn't an option as this overlooks a highway & lot of traffic noise. 3. The hotel is located in Gais & requires Bolt & Uber for any Porto related...

"ポルトに来たら何度でも使用したいと思うほど素晴らしかったです。 ポルトの市街地からは少しだけ歩くのですが、宿の探しやすさ、サービスの素晴らしさが最高でした。 わたしは事前チェックインの対応を忘れてしまったのですが、宿に着き連絡したらすぐチェックイン方法の連絡をくれました。 おかげで、携帯も私自身ももうへとへと限界だったのですが、ギリギリ繋ぎ止めることができました。本当に感謝です。 また、お風呂やトイレも毎日掃除が行き届いていて非常に綺麗でしたし、キッチンや洗濯機の完備も最高でした。コーヒーや紅茶も置いてくださってる気遣いも素敵です。 女1人、初めてのヨーロッパ一人旅で大変不安でしたが、本当にリラックスして過ごすことができました。 ありがとうございました！ もしまたポルトに来れたら、利用させてください！"

"If you plan to stay here during warm/summer season, please don’t!! The AC barely works and seems like it’s all around the hotel, also if you decide to stay here plan to have a car cuz it’s almost impossible to walk around it cuz it’s next to a strada, so you won’t be able to walk to anywhere also you need to climb a hill in order to came here which is not pleasant if you have luggage"

"Perfect location! not too crowded by tourists and still close to the Luiz 1 bridge and easy to get to POIs. Many good local restaurants nearby."
