"What a tremendous surprise is the Channel Inn. Excellent location in the Santa Monica Canyon. Friendly staff. Fabulous local restaurants. Complementary wine/cheese at 6:00. Wonderful compmtnary breakfast. Accommodations were very personal - made some great acquaintances in the communal areas. Bed and Breakfast style in a 100 year old former mansion. Simply and comfortable accommodations. Very close to palisades, Malibu, Santa Monica. Walk to beach a huge plus. Free parking.

"Excellent hotel absolutely amazing staff. reasonable continental breakfast. Be aware not all rooms have a refrigerator so be sure to ask for a room with one.
Good dining options as well as fast food and a supermarket. Highly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel staff was very friendly and always answered any questions we had.
The hotel was in a great location and nice walk to the Santa Monica Pier and 3rd Street Promenade!
The hotel rooms were nice and the bed was comfortable to sleep which is always nice during a long stay!
If we travel again would love to stay here again."

"Parking was a little on the high side. The walls were pretty thin. The staff was nice. Noticed the Manager was putting in long hours and still had a smile on his face. Pool was nice area. Bring your snacks to avoid $5 snicker prices . Breakfast was great but not a lot of seating areas."
