"Housekeeping a little off on this stay room not cleaned fully one day and asked 3 times over a couple of days for coffee milk and sugar to be replenished. Eventually had to collect milk myself from reception. Everything else was good though. Nice breakfast and staff always very pleasant."

"In my opinion the hotel did not deliver a 5 star experience. Positives: Great views! Our Junior Suite with Seaview was pleasantly spacious and so was the terrace. Both pool areas are elegant, pretty as a picture and very clean. Negatives: We were left waiting to check in with no explanation- it was not busy. We were so tired and it was a horrible feeling being left there for no obvious reason. Not much information was provided during the check in ( later- no directory in the room, no barcode with info to scan). One day our room was not cleaned. Then on other days cleaning products or cloths were left behind in the room. Breakfest does not offer a 5 star variety or richness. Parking is a nightmare ( also a weird practice of being asked to leave the key with the reception, on days we found parking our car was then moved outside the compound few times by the staff). There are residential homes on the compound (very strange). Hotel seems to operate as a restaurant- lots of outside guests. Giant crane outside was waking us up almost every day around 8am. The hotel won the lottery with the location and their gorgeous outside space makes full advantage of it. If you want few pretty snaps it's worth it. If you want a 5 star capsule experience it is not the place."

"Fantastic hotel in a great location, room with balcony sea view was nice, pool area is good with plenty of sunbeds but the towels are out early but always found a couple, breakfast is good but could of done with some granola for the yogurt, evening meal was always good with plenty of options & a themed night every night, every thing was fresh & tasty & imo its well worth having the evening meal, all in all its a very nice hotel & i wouldn't think twice about returning. If there is a negative its that there is no smoking area & they have plenty of outdoor space to include one, you had to go & stand by the front entrance to smoke which isn't very nice, i spoke to afew smokers & non smokers & no one liked it & it looks bad for the hotel when you got a group standing there smoking but it's a nice hotel & it wouldn't stop me from returning. "

"I stayed in this hotel with two of my friends (three of us in total). When we arrived to check in the staff were very friendly, approachable and could speak good english. They explained very clearly everthing we needed to know about the hotel. By the recepetion desk were we checked in was a small shop which was good for buying snacks and water. The lift there felt a bit shaky when using it and it took ages to get to our floor and so for most of the time we opted to use the stairs to get to our room. Within the room the bedrooms were a good size for what we payed for and it had two beds side by side, air conditioning, and an open wardrobe that had 4 hangers. The matresses for the beds were fairly comfortable. In the living room was a small sofa that had a pull-out sofa bed and again that mattress was fairly comfortable but not as comfortable as the bed matresses. The kitchen had cups,mugs, plates, knifes, forks, small and large spoons, a bread knife, a small frying pan, a fridge, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, a large pot, a pan, two spatulas and two hobs. I would say that the kitcken is best used for making simple meals but i would not use it to make anything complicated. The room also came with a balcony that gave you a good view of Santa Ponca and it came with two chairs and a table. In the room was air conditioning was in the bedroom and the living room which was very good at keeping you warm during the day but at night it can get very warm. Overall good value for money"
