"Great breakfast - love the fried eggs and croissants, they are so fresh. Angela gave me lots of useful travel tips - on how to take buses and trains to Pompeii and Herculaneum, where to go for dinner and where the local market is. Also took two day trips to the Amalfi coast, all the way to Amalfi. There are some great restaurants and delis nearby, it's comforting to have some deli food and fresh veggies and fruit after a long day of sight seeing."

"Very nice stay in the heart of Salerno. Everything you need, and walkable to all the major touristy areas and close to the train station and port area for ferry rides to Amalfi Coast. If driving, make sure to arrange parking with the owner ahead of time. It’s a very tough area to park"

"The apartment is a short walk from Salerno train station and conveniently situated near multiple shops, restaurants and cafes. The cute balcony offers a nice view of the surrounding neighbourhood and patios below. The bed was very comfortable and room cleaning service was offered daily. There was unfortunately a plumbing issue in the bathroom and apparent mold buildup in the ceiling corner which was visually unattractive and came with a slight odor. "The owners were very sweet, my only issue was that the room was 6 or 7 floors up. I knew there was no elevator just wish I would have know that it was on the top floors due to the fact that I have major knee problems, & lugging suitcases up was not fun for my husband. However the location was great, just a walk away from the water."

"A great location, friendly check-in, and nice size for a family of four. The only downsides are hot water for showers is pretty limited so you need to space them out or have short showers, and the ladder to the bunk bed is not fixed onto the bed making it a safety concern, but this could be fixed with a couple screws. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at ConteMax ArtHouse. The location was excellent. It is just a short walk from the train station, close to the waterfront for trips along the Amalfi Coast, and surrounded by plenty of local shops and restaurants. Our room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches like an espresso machine and a modern bathroom.
