"What a great place to stay if you need a quick stop before heading to the airport. The staff is absolutely the most helpful group of people I met, and all of Costa Rica would also like to point out that the restaurants pretty good as well."

"They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!"

"Stayed here for one night to be close to the airport for a flight the next morning. A wonderful hotel! Staff were very accommodating and kind! The room was clean and premises were absolutely beautiful. I wish I had more time here to enjoy the spa, restaurant, etc but hope to return in the future."

"I have stayed here several times, but it has changed over time. The restaurant has changed and now has a few craft beers, but the service was better before. There is some new venue close by that blasts music. I suppose that makes the hotel more convenient if you are going to that venue, but less pleasant if you are just looking to have an easy trip to/from the airport."

Cindy reached out to confirm our time of arrival, provide directions and caution us on the local roads due to a rain storm that had just passed through. "No hot water in the shower. Charged us an extra 15USD for the 2nd person in the room. Food was so-so and pricey. They offered fruit for the morning as we were leaving before breakfast was served. They gave us one small container - enough for one person. We’ve been staying here regularly when we arrive and prior to leaving Costa Rica over the years as have friends and family based on our recommendation. "Brand new property; very clean and well designed. Beautiful lobby with separate lounge and reading spaces, dining space, bar and outside seating. Excellent self serve buffet breakfast with wide variety of hot and cold food options and even some cook to order items (eg. eggs cooked to order).
