"Great proximity to Poas Volcano! Beautiful view and cozy room. The bathtub did not get very hot, but probably just due to its large size. The property is very well-maintained and breakfast was delicious! Also helpful and friendly staff (including Coco, the large white fluffy dog). I wish we stayed longer!"

"The grounds garden and pool were very beautiful and clean. The restaurant was amazing and included a full bar. They even had a space that allowed the dog to dine with us. "This is the perfect last minute stay before your flight the next morning. It's an older hotel, clean with all the basic amenities. It provided an airport shuttle to the airport which is what was most convenient because we returned our car rental the night before. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. The price was right!"

"Best location in Cartago for a hotel. Beds are not Marriott but they are clean and rooms are big enough for 3-4 people. The restaurant is good and not very expensive. The breakfast is nice and when they have the outdoor breakfast bar is probably my favorite experience of this hotel. If you’re going to be in Cartago, this is the best place to say. Very reasonably priced.
Most of the staff is bilingual in Spanish and English."
