"Casa Sao Bento was exactly as the pictures. All the charming details made our stay that much more special. As first time visitors to Europe, I missed the memo of needing ask if the room had a refridgerator. This one did not, and we prefer a private refrigerator.
Also, I am sure it is a common issue for certain areas of the city, but the strong smell of sewage was not disclaimed in the listing. The hosts did everything to have the room cleaned and aired out everyday, but the smell was strong....

"The property was beautiful, location convenient. It's steps away from the Santa Justa Lift, a supermarket, and Rossio station. Luis made check-in super easy. He walked us over and assisted with our luggage. The LIFT team was very communicative - there were various methods to contact them.
There's street buskers that sing the same 10 songs with mics and amps every night. They stop at around midnight but it could be annoying if you need to wake up early."

"Great location. Very nice acommodations. Loved the breakfast supplies provided every morning (bread. milk, coffee, butter, pastries, eggs and oranges for juice). Full kitchen. Complimentary wine. Great staff. Train just few minutes away. would definitely recommend."

"The location of the property is excellent and undoubtedly its biggest advantage, with convenient access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation. However, the building itself is quite old and shows its age in several ways. There is a noticeable odour throughout the property, and guests should be aware that there is no elevator access from the ground level, requiring stairs to reach the first floor before elevator service is available.

"Wir hatten Lisboa Suits gebucht und eine sehr großzügige Wohnung mit kleiner Küche bekommen. Alles war sehr sauber und in der Küche waren wirklich brauchbare Gegenstände zur Verfügung.
