"The property was very pretty. We had a classic suite, which was actually two adjoining rooms, so it was very spacious,with two bathrooms, a great bargain. We had dinner there once, and my meal was very good, but my wife's was awful. She had bthe cabrito, which was nothing but bones and tough sinew which she couldn't cut with a knife, no meat. But the breakfasts were great, and our stay was very pleasant overall."

"Excellent location, but carefully heed the instructions on parking. Clean and quiet boutique type rooms. Good for a one or two night stay. Reasonable included breakfast and the restaurant is very good for a hotel in this class. Helpful and friendly staff."

"Rooms are tiny but clean. The shared kitchen is nice to have though we didn't cook. You must be comfortable with self check-in and texting for information. The app was slow to send through so that was a little annoying (that is, I had a quick response according to the time stamp, but the app didn't push it through for hours). Parking is free if you are willing to walk but it's probably better than driving in the medieval streets! Overall, good for a night or two."

"This is a great base for a few days in Coimbra, which is a must-see in between Porto and Lisbon. Our room was comfortable with great beds and a view of the charming tile-roofed hills. The shower was very tiny and could be challenging for large people but it worked fine. The best thing about the Hotel Oslo is the rooftop bar with a stunning view of the town. "Manager was very helpful. Though the location is not close to the old town, we enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and took very cheap Uber rides to the old town. We would stay here again."
