"Excellent stay. First time myself and our toddler had a night away without mum. Beautiful location in Badajoz; staff were excellent, lady at reception couldn’t do enough for us and the lady at breakfast was very helpful indeed. Would use again or recommend to friends and family. Thank you for a lovely and comfortable stay."

"This is a beautiful, peaceful hotel. The rooms are large, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff are wonderful. It would serve perfectly as a retreat and invites meditation. There are no TVs in the rooms, but there's a big TV in a common room. The building also houses artwork and small museums. It's a bit isolated. The restaurant wasn't open the night we were there, but we had a lovely dinner at a restaurant 700 meters away. You can also go to the castle for dinner. The hotel breakfast...

"I wish we had more time to stay here. It’s not a hotel, it’s an experience. Nothing like staying in a building over 700 years old. The views of the countryside were incredible. The service impeccable. Dining was great. We will absolutely return if we come back to Spain. "

"Das Hotel liegt am Fluss, am Rande der Altstadt. Kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es mir etwas Glück in der "Zona Blanca" rund ums Hotel. Der Check in war schnell und freundlich. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer im vierten Stock. Bequeme Betten, Kissenauswahl und eine angenehm leise Klimaanlage. Alles sehr sauber. Nachts war es angenehm ruhig. Wir haben gut geschlafen. Das Frühstück ist über dem Spanien Standard, was die Auswahl und Qualität angeht. Fazit: mit dem Hotel kann man nichts falsch machen."
