I booked a room at the Ibis Hotel in Barretos, just for this night, to stay with my father, and I found the staff extremely unprofessional. The door had an issue because the breathing machine my father uses was left inside the room, which caused a lot of unnecessary stress for us. I was very disappointed by how slow and careless everything felt. When I entered the room, the air conditioner was extremely dirty — very dirty — and my father has respiratory problems. How can I turn on a dirty air conditioner in a hotel room for someone who needs clean air to breathe? Because of this, I had to sleep in the heat all night. I booked two rooms for four people. The girl at the front desk kept saying she was doing me a “favor” by letting us use the second room — even though I paid for two rooms for four people. My sister and I stayed in one room, and my parents in the other. I explained that sometimes my sister stays in my parents’ room to help my mom take care of my dad. The receptionist said that if my sister stayed there, she would charge an extra fee. I told her that our other room would be empty anyway, so it should be cheaper. She still insisted that she was doing me a favor, but she didn’t give me any discount for the empty room. So, all this stress combined — dirty air conditioner, dirty room, bad attitude at the front desk — made this experience extremely frustrating and disappointing. Even though it’s a cheap hotel, the quality is very poor, really poor.

Foi boa! A vantagem do Ibis é a quase sempre inexistência de surpresas. A consistência é um ponto positivo. Só acho que precisariam resolver um tema que vejo importante na rede Accor. Visito vários dos hotéis da rede, e todas as vezes tenho que dar minha ficha completa, o que sempre cria um check-in mais demorado do que precisava. Entendo que bastaria citar meu CPF e minhas info estariam lá!
