"This place was in the middle of the northern part of island. From here we explored 3/4 of the island in 2 days with a rental car. It was easy for an american to drive. I suggest an automatic. We had a standard. It was fun. Up and down and around the roads. We tried Cozido das furnas. It was delicious! My wife did a little family history searching, as her family is from the island. We visit the church where the family married and the cemetery. The island is beautiful. Everywhere."

"My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. One of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Excellent location in the heart of Ponta Delgado, walking distance to all the great restaurants. They handled our car rental for us, making it super easy (and getting us a great deal!). They have indoor parking available but it’s limited so request a spot early! "I enjoyed having a morning breakfast, it was simple but delicious and allowed me to start my day easily. I requested an early check in which they accommodated and though they could not accommodate a late check out i was allowed to leave my bag so i could explore the city gardens a bit before I headed to the airport. Great place to stay in a quiet neighbourhood close to the old city centre."
