"The front of the hotel is very deceptive. When I drove around the back to get to my room it was disgusting. The parking lot was over grown with grass growing out of the pavement and had large pot holes. The room was gross. The air conditioner didn't work well and was full of dirt and dust. The TV didn't work. The shower had peeling paint and stains on the walls. Every door frame was black with grime. The property was littered with trash. I felt unsafe and pushed a chair infront of the door...

Smoke detector had been removed and the while place smelled like cigarettes. Underside of mattress was stained and showed evidence of previous bedbug infestations. Definitely not up to code."

"We were visiting Rockford in June 2026 for my IronMan 70.3 triathlon event. Our group had little kids (age 7 & 4) and grandparents (70+). Checkin was very smooth. The hotel is about a 20 min drive from the venue of IronMan start, but it's in an area with many other hotels and restaurants, so it was convenient from that perspective.
