"Nice big, clean room. Helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Property is fenced and gated, well kept. Was able to park inside the property. Restaurant they recommended for dinner was walking distance and quite good. I showed up, rang the gate bell and someone remotely opened it to let me in. Then between 5 to 10 minutes later, someone drove up to check me in. Everything went smoothly. "We had a very pleasant stay overall. The hotel has a charming retro style, and while the rooms are a bit older, they are well maintained and have a lot of character. What stood out the most was the hospitality. The owner and staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the whole stay feel very personal. "Good comfortable hotel and very convenient for an overnight before or after a flight. Five minutes drive to the Malpensa airport. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. We had dinner as well which also was excellent. Both, the food and the service were excellent. The hotel has a bar too. Rooms were clean. Plenty of parking on site and free which eas a bonus for us considering having to pay between 15 and 25 Euros per day for overnight parking almost everywhere we went Suited us perfectly...

"Come here if you'd like to find out what great Italian home cooking tastes like. We had two diners here, and regret we didn't have more. The minestrone soup, lasagna and aubergine Parm are so fresh and refreshing, even though I'm used to the great Italian restaurants in Manhattan and Brooklyn. It's nice to have a comforting dinner overlooking the lake, after a day of sight seeing, and finishing with home made apple cake and ice cream or rum with chocolate."

"We spent 5 wonderful days in May at the Belvedere. The rooms have an incredible lake view and are just lovely. The breakfast, included, has a generous selection. We dined 3 nights at the hotel restaurant which is absolutely elegant and offers delicious food. The staff was helpful and very courteous. The island is very small and everything is “right there”. Definitely a place we will remember and go back to!"
