"Fantastic location on Stoos, just minutes walk from the funicular cable train, Morschach gondola, and chair lifts going up to Fronalpstock. We opted for the halfboard option. breakfast was great, Dinner was a set menu each night with different options. Service was great. We have a 1.5 year old, and a high chair, toys, colouring activities and child friendly plates were always ready at our table each meal. The spa was clean and very well equipped. Highly recommend getting the spa add on....

"Family owned hotel and restaurant was a nice touch. Located just outside of Luzern downtown and reachable by train which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Note the train only comes once an hour so plan accordingly. Several walkable restaurants nearby. Staff was very accommodating and helpful and provided travel adapters for free. Breakfast was a nice spread including eggs, cheese, meats and other items. Hotel was very quiet and well kept. Great base for Luzern and the area. "

"Do not miss staying here - especially if you have kids! What a cute little inn with the BEST most friendly staff, great breakfast and the best part - the playgrounds for the kids - indoor and outdoors! The train stop into town is literally a 3 min walk away and there’s a grocery store 1 min away which was the cherry on top! Highly recommend booking Chärnsmatt if you’re visiting the Luzern area! "

"Hotel was gorgeous and right on a lake with mountains all around. Food was spectacular and eating next to the picturesque view made it even better. With all that being said, the front desk kind of stole the show. They were all super friendly, helpful and went out of their way to assist anyway possible."
