"This was a great property but the staff is a bunch of corporate playbook misers. They literally refused to print me a receipt - something I am entitled to by law mind you, and costs them perhaps a penny - because I had booked through one of the 3rd party booking sites (Orbitz). I have been booking hotels for 30 years, 20+ through Orbitz and this is the first time I have ever been refused this basic and legally required service. It blows my mind that this is the hill they chose to die on - I literally tipped the cleaning staff 500x or more what it would've cost them to print a receipt. I even
double checked with the desk attendant: "so you're refusing to print me a receipt" and she defiantly replied "yes" - OK what a crazy power trip, and don't tell me "but we can't because our system blocks it", because a) that is NOT what you said and b) it defies literally my last 200 consecutive hotel stays in a row, spanning a dozen hotel chains including yours."
