"Pleasant hotel, seems to be aimed at groups and coach tours but it was fine for a one night stay. Good spacious room. Bathroom ok - shower was a bit lack lustre and could have done with a lot more pressure but again, it was fine for a one night stay. We parked on the Esplanade for free and walked to the hotel (about 10 minutes) but there is a car park at the back of the hotel too if you don't mind paying. Overall a good stay for a good price. We paid extra for breakfast which was pretty good...

"Although we didn’t take our dog it was great to see a Hotel that welcomed them. We had a medium size sea view room which was nice however the modern lights make it dimly lite especially in the bathroom and shower where I couldn’t see which was the conditioner and shampoo and the area directly outside the bedroom windows had moss and leaves ect but these are minor things that didn’t spoil our stay and we would definitely stay again "

"It is close to the railway station, all the main shopping streets, and plenty of places to eat and drink. "I liked the hotel overall, parking wasn’t easy very small car park. The pool was shallow not brilliant for swimming. Food in the evening wasn’t the best, I had duck in a sauce which was very watery not what I expected. Breakfast was great and a nice bar to sit in . Would definitely recommend "

"Decent enough place to stay. Showing it's age in places but overall clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. Easy to check in, and I set off early the following morning - leaving the keys in the box in the hallway. Very convenient for the town centre and seafront if you don't mind a few minutes walk. Variety of restaurants nearby, even before you reach the town centre."

"Perfect location just outside Scarborough perfect for the outside concerts. Just 5-10mins drive. We had one of the outside little rooms at the back of pub with double bed and ensuite. 2 nights there and loved the pub the staff and food. Great location for Whitby, Robin Hood bay and Scarborough all in less than 30min drive."
