"Wir haben hier 3 Nächte verbracht aufgrund der Nähe zum Addo Park. Die Unterkunft selbst ist toll, das Personal sehr bemüht. Wir sind sehr früh abgereist aufgrund des Fluges und uns wurde ein schönes Frühstückspaket vorbereitet. Es ist ausreichend Platz vorhanden, eine landestypische Unterkunft, die dennoch die „Vorstellungen“ eines Europäers erfüllt. Die Unterkunft ist jedoch ca 1 std mit dem Auto von Port Elizabeth entfernt und man muss kurz hinter PE durch ein recht unsicher wirkendes Gebiet...
"From check-in to checkout our experience was first class. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. The property is very quiet and comes with a private dock on the river. We definitely recommend staying here. "
"Lovely hotel to stay at when visiting Addo. Rooms are huge and the bathroom is lovely, especially the outdoor shower. Only downside is there is no door so the light comes in as soon as the sun rises.
10-15 min drive to Addo, not much in the local area.
Breakfast was good, buffet selection and eggs cooked to order. Nice pool with towels and sunscreen provided which was a nice touch."
"Our stay was incredible. Desmond, our guide, gave us some incredible sights and we were really lucky to see 4 out of the big 5 alongside various other interesting animals.
The reserve is vast and there is plenty to see, the fact that there are various lodges across the reserve means even if you have a fairly quiet hotel, there are plenty of rangers out doing drives which helps your chances of animals being spotted and your ranger making their way there.
The accomodation is lovely, a perfect room...

"Conveniently located near the N2 road to Port Elizabeth and very close to the south entrance of Addo Elephant park. The B&B is beautifully presented, comfortable, clean, quiet and lovely hosts who make you feel welcome and at home. "We had a fantastic 3 days at Addo River-View Lodge. Our hostess, Leanne, was fabulous and very helpful and informative. The proximity of the location to Addo Elephant Park was ideal and we booked a guided full day tour there. We also enjoyed a sunset boat trip on the Sundays River and climbed the sand dunes. The local restaurant, Taste of Africa, was excellent and less than a 3 minute walk. Highly recommended."
