"My daughters and I were passing through and stayed the night here. From the outside, the building is impressive looking and well maintained. The parking lot is large and easily accessible as is entry to the hotel from it. The entryway is very clean as is every part of the hotel. The check-in process was very simple and straightforward. It literally took 5 minutes or less and we were on our way. The rooms have large, heavy, solid wood doors - a throwback to a bygone era. Despite their size, the doors are very easy to manage. We had a room with 2 queen beds which were both cozy and stylish as the same time and comfortable to boot. The bathroom had a bathtub. Water temperature was perfect with plenty of hot water. We chose to have room service from Fenimore’s pub. The wait was not very long and the food was excellent. I have no idea how many guests were on our floor or near us as we hear nothing at all. Even traffic from outside wasn’t to be heard. If we pass through that way again, we will definitely stay at this hotel again. Next time I’d like to relax in the hot tub, but we hadn’t packed for that."

"Very nice staff, everything was good, however in the room I was staying in, you could hear what sounded like water valves turning on and off occasionally. It would make a groaning noise then a thump. But it wasn't really that big of a deal;, and the property was nice, staff was very friendly. I'd stay again."

"Although only stayed for a night it was nice. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Enjoyed the pool before check with great scenery. Breakfast was excellent. I had an omelette and it was delicious. The proximity to Lake George Village is walking distance so you can park and not move your car."
