Sciacca hideaway

This was a characterful place to stay in the quiet narrow streets just above the town centre - convenient also for local shops and bars. Nino was an excellent host, deservedly proud of his B&B.

Lovely accommodation in a central location

Lovely quirky accommodation tucked away in a quiet courtyard very close to one of the main squares. The roads in this part of town are narrow and a bit of a maze so I parked a little further up, near Royal Bar and then walked down to the property. To find it, look for Cortile Caradonna and the Guest House sign - the property is at the back of this courtyard. Nino, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful. The room was a charming rustic style and the bed was comfortable, with a large separate bathroom and good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was provided at Royal Bar, which does the best cannoli with raw ricotta that I've ever tasted - highly recommended! I'd happily stay here again if I'm back in Sciacca.

Très belle maison d’hôte

Antonino le propriétaire est un amour : très gentil, serviable et à votre écoute pour tout conseil. La maison d’hôte est située tout en haut du village (ce qui peut être un problème pour les personnes âgées qui veulent descendre au centre ville à pied. Mais si vous avez la voiture, il n’y a pas de problème (attention les rues sont quand même très étroites). Sinon la maison d’hôte est très propre, très bien tenue et joliment décorée avec goût. Les salles de bains sont magnifiques, nous avons adoré l’ensemble ! Tout est décoré avec le plus grand soin et il y a toujours des petites attentions de la part du propriétaire. Nous avons eu des problèmes de chauffe-eau mais comme il n’y avait personne à cette période, le proprio nous a autorisé à nous servir des autres salles de bain. Le petit déjeuner ne se prend pas sur place mais dans un café pâtisserie juste à côté. Dans l’ensemble nous avons passé un très bon séjour et remercions encore Antonino pour sa gentillesse.

The property was totally unique. Quirky inside with some fantastic attention to detail in the foyer and the rooms. The owner was so helpful and inspite of our language difficulties we managed to get around. Parking was an issue as the parking in front of the property was communal so most nights we had to find parking on the streets. Roads very narrow and difficult to navigate. But once you discover the piazzas and squares of the town it’s a lovely place to visit and stay.

Camera confortevole, con tutto il necessario, ben arredata fino al più piccolo particolare, molto sfiziosa per trascorrere una vacanza in tranquillità. Il titolare sempre attento e disponibile per qualsiasi problema. Consigliatissimo!!!
