In all my years travelling and staying in hotels, motels, homes, cabins, RV Parks, tents and in the wild, this would have to be the worst room I have ever experienced. Having a neighbouring rooms truck parked within three foot of my rooms door was not a good start. Any closer and I would have struggled to get past with my luggage. The door itself was coming apart on the outside. The bolt from the inside didn’t engage properly and was then difficult to release.
The material on the single lounge chair in the room was tattered and the chair itself was putrid, looking like it had been picked up on the side of the road.
The sink was dirty or stained from lack of cleaning over an extended period. The bath/ shower was worse and the tap ware was corroded. Could not bring my self to even use the shower.
The lid on the toilet cistern did not fit and would almost fall off every time it was flushed.
The bathroom door did not close properly.
Half of the lights were either broken or did not work.
The streaming services on the TV advised too many users connected.
The air con cut in and out continually and sounded like a loud motor bike every time it started.
Curtain on main window missing from rail resulting in the room being as bright as day during the night as Venetians did not block out the outside lights. I will be recommending to Expedia that this establishment be removed from their catalog.
