"Expect irregularities on the rooms. Know what to ask and don't take anything for granted. Don't even assume you have a bathroom in your room... And don't assume the room is not tiny . "We stayed in Arbor 15C and all was great except a few things. The stink in our lobby was disgusting. I never would have thought that a 1st class resort could allow this, We asked for an early check in and didn't get it. While there, we saw the flurry of activity in the AM with the cleaners and didn't see any cleaning going on after 2pm. Was the room really not ready until 4pm? thanks Paul"

"The amenities are nice, and the beach is beautiful. We had a Deluxe Double Queen room on the 1st floor of the East wing which was a nice size and had a spacious bathroom. The main disappointment with the room was that it faced the back with no view whatsoever. The beach and pool got very crowded by early afternoon. Although the mansion and grounds were beautiful, I wouldn't really consider this to be a "luxury" hotel."

"Very dated, which doesn't bother us as it was clean, especially for the price. However the bed was rock hard and the old air conditioning wall unit cycled on and off, rattling all night. We couldn't figure out how to get it to run constantly and even then it would have been really loud and rattled. (Rm 134). Complimentary continental breakfast sounded nice but only waffles, bagels, toast. No fruit or yoghurts."

The hallway carpet is disgusting, stained, and smells unpleasant. There is no air conditioning in the common areas, while the breakfast area is consistently unclean and the food is merely edible.
