"We went into our stay here with realistic expectations based on other reviews and were not expecting a 5 star experience but we had issues we were not expecting and because of those would definitely not stay here again.
Pros:
- the best thing about this location is the proximity to the ski lifts. It's a very short walk!
- there is a small kitchen if you like to bring some of your own food
Cons:
- THE NOISE!!! While the proximity to the lifts is great, you also should be aware that the bar across the street plays loud music until 2 am and we had to listen to drunk people yelling outside our window for another 45 min after that. The windows are very old and have literally no insulation. We talked to the receptionist about this and they offered ear plugs which helped for the second night but honestly, you shouldn't need ear plugs to sleep when you are paying a few hundred a night.
- the bed was also pretty uncomfortable. It felt more like a rollout bed and we both sank into the middle of it.
- the tv is very old and didn't work well. The tv didn't seem to respond at all to the remote.
-the wait time for the elevator in insane. I know that seems like a petty complaint but when it takes 5 min every time you want to use it, you resort to carrying things up and down the stairs."
