"Staff were excellent especially Kaylor and the team, very warm and helpful with organising our tours. Food options also very good and place is quiet and in the middle of nature. Accomodation is ok, little bit rustic but then it is an eco lodge and you paying for seclusion and to be close to wildlife. Would recommend overall"

"The property is in good condition. The room was good, big enough. The location is excellent. They helped set up our tours and we had an excellent time. Everything is super close. Their dock is nice and relaxing. We were able to get some beautiful sunset pictures. The breakfast was very good! We would definitely recommend it!"

Greeted at the dock, luggage taken care of, greeted with fresh watermelon juice, chef cooked such delicious meals (dessert included), housekeeping cleaned 2-3 times a day, cooper hooked us up with tours, everything was great and relaxing. 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the national park, 5 minute walk to the village. "

"Leider konnte uns die Mawamba Lodge nicht überzeugen. Von den 2 gebuchten Bungalows war bei Ankunft nur einer verfügbar. Der andere war im Bau und entkernt. Durch die Bauarbeiten gab es auch extreme Lärmbelastigung den ganzen Tag (Betonmischer, Sägen, Hämmern usw.) Dies hätte uns vor Ankunft mitgeteilt werden müssen, besonders da wir ca. 7 Monate vorher gebucht hatten. Die Damen von der Rezeption waren mittelmäßig bemüht. Der angebotene Bungalow schien erst kurz vor unserer Ankunft fertig...

"Kamer is schoon, prima airco en mooi uitzicht op de rivier. Douche is vreselijk er komt een klein straaltje uit wat maar soms warm is. Bij de receptie werd gezegd dat dit op heel het eiland het geval is."

"Der erste Eindruck war ernüchternd, da von dem üppigen Bewuchs rund ums Haus, der auf den Fotos zu sehen war, nichts mehr übrig ist. Juanita, die leider kein Englisch spricht, hat uns mit einem sehr leckeren Fruchtshake begrüßt und auf Nachfrage konnten wir ihre Waschmaschine nutzen. Weiterhin hat sie einen Guide organisiert der uns verschiedene Touren anbot. Soviel zum Positiven. Das Zimmer war zwar sauber, das Inventar lässt leider zu wünschen übrig. Es gibt keine Nachttischlampen, die...

"L’hôtel est vraiment bien situé, juste devant l’immense plage (baignade interdite!). Pour la baignade, la piscine de l’hôtel a plu à toute la famille! L’appartement est grand et les lits sont confortables! Le personnel est fort sympathique, particulièrement Josué et la dame du restaurant où nous prenions le déjeuner. Nous recommandons!"

"Cet hôtel est au milieu de 2 autres hôtels, l’evergreen et le Monkey, reliés par un chemin goudronné. Nous étions les seuls clients dans celui ci donc pas de buffet. L’hôtel est insalubre, aucune propreté, nous sommes restés 3 nuits et aucun ménage dans la chambre, nous avons dû nous sécher pendant 3 jours avec les mêmes serviettes à raison de deux douches par jour. La chambre est moite, très humide, ce qui rend le sol glissant.Aucun confort mais vraiment aucun. Ne vous fiez surtout pas aux...

"Brilliant hotel in a great beach-front location. The room was very large and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was very good. The staff were all very nice and extremely helpful, particularly Leo who was regularly ensuring that we were happy with everything. Breakfast is made to order to suit your preferences and was very tasty. Nice hammocks to relax in. The staff even took our luggage to the dock for us"

"I recommend that if you want to stay at Miss Marian‘s cabins, I would only stay for about a week. People that own it are very nice and they definitely want to help. So I do recommend it."
