"This hotel was exceptionally clean and convenient for our first visit to Bar Harbor. Not only was the location perfect, this hotel was very clean and had great staff that helped us when we needed suggestions/assistance. Special shoutout to Kina who helped us print our park pass for Acadia!"
"The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean, though a bit outdated. The shuttle bus to Bar Harbor Village Green runs frequently, making it easy to avoid parking challenges and fees. The location is excellent for exploring Acadia National Park. The property itself is spacious, with plenty of areas to walk our dog. We also enjoyed breakfast at the on-site restaurant, which offers beautiful views. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay."
"Everything was wonderful but there is no elevator and we were in the third floor of a building with wonderful tall ceilings. 38 steps up with luggage is a lot. I will Ask to stay on first or second floor next time."
"The room always felt clean. The towels were excellent. I like that they had a hair dryer. I also like the proximity to Main Street. I recommend this place to anyone!"
Holiday Inn Resort Bar Harbor - Acadia Natl Park by IHG
8/10 Good
"The Holiday Inn is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. The rooms are clean. Pool is heated. They have free washers and dryers. There is a bus to take u into town. The only issue- which is an isolated issue- is that we had a pool view room but because of a bush that was right in front of our balcony, we had no view. Other than that, the Holiday Inn is a great place to stay."
"This is more of a budget motel than a hotel, but the room was spacious and well maintained. The breakfast was typical hotel fare — you just have to walk outside to access. I would stay here again if back in the area. Only complaints are that the in room fridge was very small and we did not get any cleaning service over a five night stay."
