"This is a charming old-world experience in a well-maintained hotel set in the redwoods beside the Russian River. Rooms are smalll, but clean and comfortable. We had a balcony overlooking the river, which we enjoyed. The staff was helpful and friendly. The owner is obviously very proud of his establishment and dedicated to making it a good experience for his patrons. The breakfast is ample. The attached restaurant provides a German cuisine."

"What an amazing little gem we discovered when searching properties around Bodega Bay. We had no idea what to expect, but we were absolutely delighted with the location and the small cabin on wheels. It was very much a glamping experience, but really made for an awesome memory. Dog friendly, walking distance to town with good restaurants and stores. She oversaw breakfast and made sure everyone got their orders right away. "The Boho Hotel should be called the Hobo Hotel because the rooms are dirty and rundown. The bathroom had water damage and mold growth near the shower. The carpets had stains on them, and the front entry door was warped. The place was short-staffed, and those folks seemed overwhelmed and didn't have any answers. They were completely clueless. Hobo hotel fees were obscene, given the lack of quality of the rooms. The cocktails were expensive and seemed to be missing some key ingredi ents."

"The Stavrand is the kind of place where you naturally begin to slow down, mentally and physically. The property has such a calm, grounded feeling to it, and it really lets you settle in without even trying. We stayed here as a family, and our son had the most wonderful time, jumping in the pool, hiking around the property, and even trying a plum or two straight from the tree.
