"They changed the room I ordered and had to put my party in separate rooms. It happened to one other customer in front of me and has to settle for a king bed with 3 people. The establishment is old and need of serious updates. The air conditioner would t cool below 75. The continental breakfast was terrible and few choices. The staff was friendly, but it hardly made up for all the negatives. Will not stay again. And will warn others not to as well."

"Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly! I appreciated that the hotel is locked at night to prevent any unwanted visitors from entering. The only downside we encountered was breakfast doesn’t start until 7am on the weekends! Being from a different time zone, we were up early and had places to be! However, the breakfast was good on the days we did eat! For the price, I was very impressed with how clean, well maintained, and updated everything was! Would stay again if we’re back in the area!"

"The breakfast menu had plenty of choices and options and we were there for two nights, and each breakfast was a bit different in the hot cooked item choices. We did use the hottub in the mid afternoon and it did not feel very warm. Wished it was hotter. but the jets worked great. The king size bed mattress was very comfortable to sleep on."

"Breakfast was amazing. Omelets available every morning. Full breakfast for hot and cold options. Hotel had a lot of character and it was what we needed, a place to sleep for our adventures. Close to many of the sights people want to see like Garden of the Gods, Piles Peak, Manitou Springs, Cheyenne Zoo, and Seven Falls. The hotel was short staffed, but they did what they could. "Hands down the best experience with hotel staff I’ve ever experienced. These folks seem to love their job and the people they work with. The friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. It was a great stay because of the staff alone but then add a clean, comfy room and great breakfast. It was 10/10. Management is doing great."
