"This was our first time staying at the Hotel Bothwell and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. We were in town to visit the State Fair and this location was perfect. From the moment we stepped foot into the hotel we were greeted with such friendly, smiling faces. The staff always ensured we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful dinner at the Ivory Grill located just off the lobby. Our room was much larger than we expected, it was clean and had all of the amenities. Breakfast was located downstairs and was one of the best we've had from a hotel in a long time. The service was wonderful for that as well. If we find ourselves back in Sedalia we will most definitely book our stay at Hotel Bothwell"

"Best motel 6 I’ve ever stayed in. I average 60-70 hotel stays a year due to my profession. This one far exceeds expectations. The customer service, beds, and cleanliness were outstanding. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area. "

"We booked for my parents when the came into town. Checked in and the room was so heavily perfumed it was choking. The air conditioner front was broken and you could see mold thick and growing in it. My mom has cancer and could not stay there. We immediately checked back out. The front desk said they could not refund us because it was booked by Expedia. Even though I had just paid at the front desk. I called Expedia and they contacted the hotel. I was told they approved the refund and would be refunded within 24 hrs. Called the hotel next day and was told they would refund as soon as Expedia canceled the booking. None of this ever happened so I ended up disputing it on my credit card. "

"I enjoyed all of it. I loved the Roku TV and I could just watch what I wanted on Hulu and YouTube and stuff. A couple roaches here and there during my 5 night stay, but I loved the hotel. For a budget hotel, it was nice. The smell in the hallways and lobby could be improved on, it's a little humid and hot in there. But other than that, I enjoyed my stay in room 220"
