"On our way from Cape Town to the wonderful Pure Nature Lodge in Paterson we stopped twice at The Old Trading Post for one night stop-over. "Very friendly owners who gave me some ideas on what to see and where to go, very helpful. Nice room, clean and has all you need for an overnight stay. I stayed up stairs with a view of the water. Property just out of town so you would need transport or Uber if you wanted to eat and drink in town. Would stay again, if I was coming back to South Africa."

"The accommodation generally was good. We were received. We requested two single beds when booking and was given a king. This was changed to two singles while we waited. Other guests were extremely loud and messy outside. The mess wasn't cleaned. Breakfast was 7 am to 9 am. No one was around at 7 for the breakfast nor was anyone there to hand our keys to so we just left. accommodation was decent but service was poor. the person who received us appeared to be hanging with the noisey guests."
