"Two things stand out for me about this hotel.
Firstly the rooms are bare. There are no cupboards or drawers and the space to use computers, etc is minimal. In the bathroom there are no amenities. I should point out however that there is free tea and coffee available in the lobby and a water fountain. However I’m sure most people like the idea of starting the day with a tea or coffee in the room before having their wash and getting dressed.
This is a hotel which is innovative when it comes to room servicing. If you don’t want your room serviced (and most of the time it’s not necessary for a couple of days stay) there is a small pouch you hang on your door before 2am. When you bring it back in in the morning it contains a mix of gifts, in my case a small bottle of juice, a small pot of jam and some biscuits. Certainly a novel idea and more likely to get guests to pass on cleaning than hanging a card on the door."
