"If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with not a lot of people and kids running around (besides the train every now and then during the day. lol) This is it. It’s a cute intimate staycation. The massage I got for my husband he loved and the footsoak in the garden with wine and cheese board was perfect. I even fell asleep in the garden waiting for my husband to finish his massage. The staff are super attentive and make you feel so welcomed. We satyed in the sage room and slept like babies....

"Came here for a little weekend getaway with my wife. Room was very clean and exceeded our expectations. Staff was very helpful and friendly when checking in. Locations is very close to everything you’d need. About 5-10 min from nice beaches and about 20-25 min from Downtown SD. Didn’t get to try out the breakfast provided or the pool area. Overall a great experience and would book again."

"Pros: Pool was nice-large enough to swim in. Housekeeping was attentive and pleasant. Cons: Dated property. Swayback beds. Inadequate kitchen supplies in suite. Thin walls. Clearly heard next door neighbor’s noise. Front desk was clearly disinterested in the job."

"On arrival the desk host personally walked me to the room, then showed all of the amenities, then walked us to the parking structure to show how to enter to the parking structure. It was a very pleasant experience, thank you"

"One of the worst rooms we ever stayed in. There was no refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot only one roll of toilet paper. when the door was shut, there was a space that you could put papers through and see through it not safe at all. The lock didn’t seem very safe either. When you sat or lay down on the bed, all you could hear was the springs underneath squeaking. There was no breakfast except for package, tiny blueberry muffins, and granola bars . Best of all they did not have any ice or ice...

"LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. So quaint and well run. The manager was very helpful in checking in and guiding us to our cottage room, even put the FIFA game on for me! Hot showers, comfortable bed, lots of room and coffee in the morning. Will definitely be returning."

"The hotel was okay overall, but the pool experience was disappointing. The pool wasn't very clean or well maintained, and it closed much earlier than expected each day. The water slide was also only open for a very limited time—it opened late in the day and closed early, making it difficult for families to enjoy it. If the pool and slide are important to your stay, you may want to consider this before booking."

"The property was conveniently located on the beach. Parking was not guaranteed. Had to drive around for at least 10 minutes to find a spot. The room itself was ok. The remodel was not the best."

"Amenities were perfect, including the pool and breakfast! Staff at front desk could have improved, being a silver member I’ve never been denied a water even after checking in, but two members of staff on two different occasions denied handing me a bottle of water. Aside from that, hotel has the best location due to its close proximity to Legoland (8min drive), outlets (6min drive) and many other hotspots."
