"Great place for a stay during our car trip from Italy to the Netherlands. Very friendly staff in the reception and restaurant. Quick to solve some issues we encountered (allergies for bedding), large rooms for a family of 5, nice playground for the kids and close to the highway to continue our trip. "We started at wonderful Hotel Baeren for two nights, and loved every second! We arrived a little late, and our key was left for us, super convenient to check in. Ample free parking right next to the hotel, close to everything and VERY quiet. The staff was so kind and welcoming. "Wir waren nur für 1 Übernachtung dort und haben deshalb nicht alle Angebote wahrnehmen können. Wir wurden im Nebengebäude untergebracht. Das fühlt sich schon ein wenig wie "abgeschoben"an. Auch hätte die Dame an der Rezeption erwähnen können, dass es dort oben auch einen separaten Parkplatz gibt und uns nicht Koffer und Taschen eine lange Treppe nach oben schleppen lassen. Das Zimmer ist wirklich sehr klein, der Teppich teilweise im Bereich der Balkontür aufgelöst, der Toilettendeckel lose, der...

"I like the vicinity to train station and Altstadt shopping and restaurants. The hotel lacks a few safety features in the Bathroom area like unsave bathtub ie could use rubber mats or hand rails. The Bar/Restaurant on street level is excessively noisy (music - low level base) at weekends Friday/Saturday up to 4AM."
