"Room was modern and clean. Air conditioning worked well. Secure onsite parking for a fee, but plenty of free options overnight and weekends. Walking distance to shops, and the pub next door has great food."

"This is not a hostel. It is a homeless shelter and should not be advertised on Expedia. There are no on site staff to sign you in. It is done via camera and tv. The place is not clean and there are no amenities. The pictures used show a social area with young backpackers but this is definitely how the building is now. "

"Lighting in bathroom was bad for make-up and general grooming, yellow lights, Balcony in need of urgent repair large cracks in floor had to be careful not to trip,plus there should be a safety strip on step indicating that there is a step down to balcony. Breakfast was very disappointing the only good thing was the orange juice, we chose to have in room as we wanted to experience eating on balcony overlooking the rowers on the lake."

"Poorly managed property - they'll be in touch like clockwork to get your security deposit payment then don't deliver details of how to pickup keys come check-in time. After a few call attempts they blamed it on the cleaner "forgetting" to put the key in the lock box. We were greeted with dirty dishes from the last guest and our request for a 3rd bed not fulfilled. They told me that I forgot to put that request into them... funny considering I have it clearly noted on their confirmation email...

"Location is handy for a quick overnight stopover. Ventilation was very noisy and no hanging space in cupboard for any long items, 3 coat hangers for shirts only. Did have ironboard and iron which was a plus. Lobby was very crowded, noisy as it was part of bar/restaurant, but then, online check-in is apparently the correct way to do things here. I used the very friendly staff instead."

"Check in was very quick, and the staff at the front desk was very helpful. Rooms were very clean and spacious. All the necessary utilities were provided including a kettle for your morning coffee. The shower had great water pressure and nice and warm. It felt so good to get out of the shower onto a heated floor. What luxury this was. We went to the restaurant that night, and the selection of food was great. They appeared to specialise in Malaysian food. We tried that, and the spices and flavours...

"I stayed for nearly 5 months in between homes. It such a beautiful apartment with delightful helpful staff. Can’t thank everyone enough for making me so welcome. Will be visiting Cottage Kitchen regularly and be back for special occasions. Every best wish team Majestic. "
