"The room was nice and spacious. I found a few things weird, but not a deal breaker. The shower (no tub) was a walk in and quite spacious. However, there were NO shelves or indentions within the walls to hold the soap or shampoo! You had to reach out and place whatever you are using on the back of the toilet. The shampoo, conditioner, lotion bottles were ridiculously small. They are basically a one time use and if your hair is long and thick, you might need two!
The toilet paper holder was broken-not that I cared, just seems like an easy fix that shouldn’t have been overlooked. I liked the lighting option that was built in the mirror allowing for lighting that was less harsh. The pillows are amazingly soft and fluffy, but I personally found the bed a bit too stiff and hard for my liking. They offered a good variety of tv stations even though I could never figure out how to “see” a guide describing programs. The breakfast was the typical tasting eggs and sausage. They also had the usual cold options and bread. What I did find unique was the waffle toppings that were available. They had a nice variety of pecans, chocolate chips, and a couple others that I can’t recall. The swimming pool is small and located directly IN FRONT of the hotel facing the road. The AC was colder during the day and seemed to be motion activated considering it was warmer at night even though the digital temp never changed. All in all it was a nice stay, in a clean, well maintained, spacious room."
