Brilliant, Wonderful Staff

The thing that makes 'The Citta' special is its staff. No words can explain how welcomed the staff makes the guest feel. Right from the general housekeeping staff to the girl attending guests during breakfast, from the driver to the security guard, from the maintenance guy to the manager, everyone was all about all smiles and unadulterated effort to make the guests' stay comfortable. Everyone - Made, Wayan and others I can remember the names right now, was brilliant. Although the place has its own limitations, the staff makes it up for it by their dedication. I will definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Bali.

Nice place to stay in a way too busy city!

Very spacious place, superb attentive service, okay breakfast, beautiful grounds and pool area. A few mechanical hiccups with hot water and AC that were resolved as quickly as possible. Recommend this place to stay for sure

Breakfast was included but average. Not good. Not bad, just average. Was about 20k taxi fare to seminyak square Can walk 10mins to shopping area. Pillows overly fat and i found hard to sleep. Solution would be to take your own pillow if fussy. Villa was very big and spacious, clean. Pool for kids was great. Good shallow end, and deep end not too deep. Generally quiet. Hosts very friendly and grounds secure. Bathrooms clean. Great for families. Airport taxi to hotel was 400k. We arrive late and couldn't bargain. Apparently go upstairs to 2nd level and catch taxi for 1/2 cost. Hotel to airport van in advance was 150k as comparison as arranged by hotel. Food in bali has gone up in price generally and not much cheaper than say Australia. When eating out, breakfast was about 650k for 2 adults and 2 children. At hotel, it was free, but average. Beds were comfy and great for kids. Easy to get taxi everywhere and back with only 1 min walk to street with consistent taxis going past.

It is different from the pictures in website. A little disappointed. Kind of old..Breakfast was terrible compare to other hotel. And one thing upset was that, when we came back from beach our room looked different. For example light was turned on. We turned off the lights whew we went out. Also curtain looked differenet..it was so upset. That means someone came in our room without permission. Plus there was one nice bluetooth speaker. So we could enjoy listening to the music with that. But next morning,when coming back to the hotel from the beach, it disappear. So i asked staff. They brought it . That means they came to inside my room without knowing again.....that made me so upset...

Clean and spacious. Friendly staff. Good hot breakfast made to order. Walking distance to grocery stores. We had a kitchen but it was pretty basic. There was a microwave but no way to plug it in -- the staff would have probably helped address that.

Great place to stay

Great - the friendly helpful staff and service, the grounds, the pool, being able to go for a swim after dark, the huge rooms upstairs and downstairs for the family, the free trips within the Seminyak area and fast wi-fi to stream movies. It lived up to our expectations.

What a far cry from the pictures advertised

When u walk in the double storey villa, there is an overhanging smell of smoke, bath tub upstairs spewed dark liquid and black residue when switched on. The whole place was old and dinghy. I was shocked at the condition of the place. Bedsheets were grey and not white. I arranged for another villa the very next day as I couldn't stand another moment in that place, considering that I had a baby and a 7 year old with me. Could have improved on the toilets and smell and it would have made a world of a difference. We booked through Expedia but the staff told us that they were not expecting anyone to check in on Sunday and thus they did not prepare the room. Staff are friendly but didn't make up for our experience there. Not going back there and never booking through Expedia again!

空いていたせいかスイートに滞在できました。ベッドルーム以外はシャワー、トイレ、キッチン等もオープンエアで木の扉を開けて出なければならず不便、広すぎました。バスタオルは穴が開いてかなり使用感があり、バスタブは大きすぎてお湯を溜める気分にはなりませんでした。道路に面しているため車やバイクの音がかなり気になります。虫除けも置いてありますが、かなり蚊が多かったです。

Nice hotel, clean and good amenities

Really nice hotel, clean and good amenities. It is on the other side of the road to the main shopping area/ restaurants but the hotel has a free drop off shuttle and if you have a scooter its a 2 min easy drive to Legian and 5ish (depending on traffic) to Seminyak. The staff are friendly and very helpful!

Honrymoon at the Citta Villa

So my Surprise Honeymoon to to Bali started at The Citta Villa. The property o s beautiful it has Soooo much more potential! The rooms are spacious but not Clean. The staff are friendly but are not equipped with the right tools to meet guests needs. Our request to be collected at the airport did not happen either. I still feel that the Citta is a Beautiful Villa but it needs to be Refreshed, new bedding, towels, pool area pillows and a better cook. We booked for 6 Days & only stayed 4. Food not good but if it was not for the heavenly pool I would have left after day 1.

Comfortable and Cosy

A beautiful room with a really comfortable bed and a relaxed vibe. The Citta is a little rundown but it makes up for it by being extremely affordable, super clean and having amazing staff. Nothing was too much to ask and we really didn’t want to leave. Thanks for the great stay!

Fantastic

We stayed here for 5nights and were sad to leave. The staff are amazing!!! the villa lotus was roomy and clean, with a very comfortable king size bed. We walked straight out our door and into the beautiful pool. Breakfast was great delivered to our room and set up on the table. We will be back...
